CSL engaged to assess economic impacts of Petco Park

CSL was engaged the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation to provide an analysis of the economic impact the private sector’s investment in Petco Park has had on downtown San Diego.

The analysis will include an assessment of the economic impacts of an MLB franchise, Petco Park and ancillary developments generated from expenditures made by team management, event attendees, commercial businesses, local residents and non-local patrons. The study will include an evaluation of economic impacts in terms of direct spending, total output, employment earnings and tax revenues generated from stadium construction, annual operations and the associated commercial and residential developments in downtown San Diego.
