CSL retained by the Coeur D’Alene Sports Complex Committee to assess the feasibility of a new events center facility

The Couer D’Alene Sports Complex Committee was formed to evaluate the potential development of a multi-purpose sports and entertainment event facility in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. The proposed facility is envisioned to meet several of the market’s event and assembly facility needs, while drawing additional visitors to the city. The Committee, which includes a number of public and private stakeholders, commissioned CSL to assess the feasibility of the proposed venue.

CSL’s tasks include an analysis of the local market, including demographics and existing regional event venues. In addition, CSL will perform a market demand analysis to identify the areas of greatest need in the community, and the extent to which a new facility can address those specific needs. A financial analysis will be completed to develop estimates regarding the estimated operating revenues and expenses associated with various facility configurations. The economic impacts generated by event attendees, particularly those originating from outside of the immediate Coeur D’Alene area, will also be estimated. Finally, a funding analysis will be conducted to identify and quantify potential sources of funds for facility construction.
