Weston has been a part of CSL's consulting team since 2000, and currently serves as a Project Manager. During his time with CSL, he has gained experience related to the development and operations of a wide variety of sports and entertainment facilities, including:
- Major and minor league ballparks,
- Collegiate and professional football and soccer stadiums,
- Professional, municipal and collegiate arenas,
- Motorsports venues,
- Performing arts centers,
- Recreational sports facilities and complexes,
- Conference and meeting venues, and
- Other such facilities.
Weston has served as Project Manager or Lead Analyst on more than 80 facility-related studies in markets located throughout the United States, ranging from major metropolitan areas to small communities. This wide range of experience provides Weston with an understanding of the issues faced by a variety of franchises, universities and municipalities as they assess the future of their sports, entertainment and assembly facilities. Specific assistance Weston has provided to these clients includes analyses related to:
- Market and financial feasibility of facility construction/renovation,
- Comparable facility benchmarking,
- Building program recommendations,
- Economic and fiscal impacts of facility and franchise operations,
- Project funding,
- Ticket and premium seating pricing and sales,
- Lease issues,
- Site selection, and
- Various other services.
The results of Weston's work have included detailed reports on facility planning, development recommendations, financing options and financial feasibility.
