CSL has served as the Lions’ stadium development consultant since 1992. During this time, CSL has prepared detailed financial comparisons of various stadium development options. In addition, the potential demand for preferential seating options in each stadium alternative was evaluated. CSL also assessed the various funding mechanisms that could be used to construct a new stadium, and assisted the Lions in their negotiations with the Pontiac Silverdome Authority as well as Wayne County. After the successful referendum, CSL worked with the Lions to determine the appropriate inventory and pricing for the premium seating.

The $430 million, 65,000-seat domed stadium opened in 2002 in downtown Detroit.
