CSL International was originally retained by the New York Mets, New York City Economic Development Corporation, and the Empire State Development Corporation to analyze the market potential for a proposed new stadium in Flushing, New York. Subsequently, CSL was retained by the Mets to assist in negotiations with the City of New York. Services provided by CSL included a viability analysis, financial and economic impact analysis, and negotiation assistance. Subsequent to the successful negotiation, CSL assisted the Mets with financing of the team’s pilot payment, selections of the new ballparks concessionaire, and premium pricing.

 

The $900 million, 41-922-seat Citi Field opened in 2009 as the new home of the MLB New York Mets.
