CSL was retained by Forest City Ratner to provide a market and financial analysis for a new downtown arena in Brooklyn that would become the new home of the New Jersey Nets. CSL analyzed characteristics of recently-built NBA arenas and existing sports facilities in the New York City area. Telephone surveys were completed with local corporations and high income households to assess demand for season tickets, premium seating and sponsorships. Estimates were developed concerning event and attendance levels that could be achieved at the arena, and the resulting revenues and expenses.
